Silver Dressage Circuit

The Silver Dressage Circuit is an EC provincial circuit and as such is governed by the Rules of Equine Canada, but is administered within the province.  The Silver Dressage Circuit provides a competition level between the Bronze level and Gold level competitions.

Silver Dressage Coordinator is appointed by Cadora-Ontario.  The Coordinator acts as a liaison between competitors, competitions, groups and equestrian federations.  The Coordinator is responsible for preparing and distributing a Silver  Dressage Handbook, calculating and presenting awards, and coordinating the Silver Dressage Championships.

For the 2010 season, the Core Program will consist of the levels First Level through Intermediaire 2 and recognizes the categories Open, Amateur and Junior.  EC First Level through Fourth Level Freestyles are also included in the Core Program.

All competitions must offer Open classes.  Separate Junior and/or Amateur classes may be offered at any level at the discretion of the individual competition.  Year End Awards are calculated separately for Open, Amateur and Junior, even if separate classes are not held.

It is the responsibility of competition organizers to report Junior competitors.  It is the responsibility of the competitor to advise the Silver Dressage Coordinator of eligibility for Amateur Status.
